  Best club house sandwich in the city!! Seriously anywhere that I've been that has a club house sandwich has never been as good as this place's! Been eating her since i was 11.

  We were out with some Winnipeg locals, and they asked us what we wanted to try - we said how about a dive bar close to where we are staying (Tyndall park), maybe with karaoke? We also added the condition that we not feel like we may be in a risky situation at any point - they hit the nail on the head with Alfies.
  
  There was karaoke going on, which we thoroughly enjoyed, but for those who aren't fans of the controversial hobby can escape and still enjoy pool, as the bar smartly set up their sound system to not reach all corners of the building.
  
  Cleanliness and food quality were basically what you would expect of a dive bar/pool hall, nothing more or less. Service was definitely decent, save for her ringing endorsement of the drink special, which looked and tasted like sugared windex (another member of our party had the Long Island and enjoyed it, however).
  
  If you're looking for a casual night out where you don't take the art of vocals too seriously, give Alfie's a try.
